Our encoders are delivered to your venue fully pre-configured. They have a 12G-SDI input, an HDMI 2.0 input, two Ethernet ports, WiFi 6 and up to two ports for LTE/5G modems. They also offer an SD card slot for recordings.

The encoders can stream to our video core with up to 5 network connections (2x Ethernet (5G modems with Ethernet (can be rented)), 2 USB modems (can be rented), 1x WiFi (hotspots)). This enables secure, failure-free transmission, especially for outdoor events or poor internet connections.

The settings depend on various factors, the hardware itself, the Internet connection and, of course, the resolution in which you want to stream.

As a guideline, use a maximum of two thirds of the minimum streaming bandwidth available at the transmission point.

If you want to stream in a very good resolution of 1080p, you should select 60 fps. A stable bit rate of 6000 kbit/s (6 MBit per second) is then required.

If you are streaming with a smartphone, for example, you will not be able to achieve such values. Newer smartphones should be fine with 720p and 30 fps and a bit rate of 3,000 or 4,500 kbit/s.
